That is true, but wouldnt that make me overboost?
i hit 8lbs then it drops, i can hear it open(open dump). i just want to see if anyone has had this problem, before i but a used 14b wg or go ghetto with a carb spring

i've tested it with the air gun to the line, and it opens fine, and seems to close fluidly, but i don't know. its really starting to **** me off

Non-cdm stock MHI 16g wastegate will do this too. My teg made 17psi and would immediately drop to 14psi regardless of the clocking or any other ghetto-rigging I attempted.

External gate is the only sure-fire solution.

Its surging up then slamming the shitty wg open, then dropping back down..wg slams shut.. bad design. Try porting the wg hole.
