Default wastegate dump tube, how hot? flamethrower?

OK guys, the manifold is coming along very well. my welds aren't the greatest, but I think they're going to suffice... I have an issue with my wastegate now.

I am using a Tial 44mm wastegate coming off the collector just beneath a Tial/Garrett GT3076R. I'm trying to figure out the routing of the screamer pipe (wastegate open-discharge) but what I'm lacking is the facts about how hot this will get, and whether or not it will be shitting flames betwen shifts or everytime it discharges?

I have a very simple design for blowing it down through the plastic fenderwell liner and out of the gap between my tire and fender. option 2 is almost as simple and would have the dump pipe exiting almost straight sown at the ground right in front of the pass. front tire.

Option 3 gets complicated but has the dump pipe exiting out of one of gills in my new front FRP "RS4" bumper (ebay el-cheapo body kit)
Problem here is that I have Air Coditioning components -namely high and low side lines and the dryer which pose an obstruction to this plan.

I have a shitload of bends, Plus, the wastegate is full V-band, so that should make fitting this up somewhat easier, but without knowing just how hot this will get, AND what to expect as far as flames coming out the discharge, I'm really at a standstill. I'd appreciate any advice and suggestions concerning this.

Thanks

This pic shows the gate on the mockup manifold and with the dump pipe routed up-curved back/over and out through the plastic fenderwell liner. this would discharge the wastegate through the gap between the tire/fender. I don't want to flambe' my car or any parts of it, which is why I'm asking whether or not this is a feasible option...

this pic is of the gate "on" the mockup manifold, and with dump pipe routing straight down at the ground in front of the pass front tire/towards the inside of the wheel (more-less under the car) this puts the dump pipe in very close proximity to the compressor discharge piping...

header wrap? thanks for the suggestion, I presume you're telling me that it get's hot enough to need header tape? (thermal wrap)

So... dumping the gate out the gap between tire/fenderwell is a bad idea?

that last part about an audi driver crying eludes me... were you trying to direct at me?

pvc for an exhaust manifold is more awesome than using steel piping, how come i never thought of the weight reduction before?!

point that ---- at the ground, preferably away from anything melty or flammable. yes, that ---- gets hot. wrap it up and you're good to go.

PVC is the shizznit, and yes it is light as ----. I had this mockup at work with me last week trying to take measurements off the collector so I could write a .dxf file for the CNC router I run. My boss and I managed to convince one of our helpers that I was gonan be using this for my new turbo. -had the little ****** going until well after lunchtime

OK, I can aim it at the ground right along side the compressor discharge, or along side the downpipe and aimed at the ground below the tranny. (into the 3" straight exhaust is an option too. is there any real benefit of running the dump "open atmosphere" as opposed to plumbing it into the exhaust? (other than sounding obnoxious, -which is preferrable to me.

Also, I'm reading on Garrett's site, that the WG should come off the collector at a 45 as opposed to 90 degrees like most manifolds I see are. anyone agree or disagree with this? I have room to come off at a 45, and in fact a 2-4 inch extension would make things less congested and ease the plumbing. is there anything wrong with extending a tube off the collector? or should the gate sit right on the collector?

my crx didn't even have a dump tube, it was open wastegate...
---- melted the ---- out of my radiator fan shroud.
i'd point that ---- straight down at the ground or back into the exhaust.

Gasses have a way of getting warm when they get all exploded and stuff.

yes, it has been statistically proven by statistics that prove it
