Wastegate actuator rod at angle...

Anyway, I'm using a Pulsar GTi-R T28, in the process of clocking it (PITA) I had to bend the wasegate daspot holding bracket. I got everything to fit up nicely, the only thing is that the actuator rod is angled coming out of the dashpot. Does this matter? Everything is tight otherwise.

As long as it does not bind when it opens or closes its fine. I have bent lots of wast gat brackets and rods with no problems, thats how you adjust the tension on some of the older ones.

It won't be a problem provided that you can freely open and close the flapper valve. I had to mount the wastegate actuator on the block on a d series and it was slightly angled and I haven't had any problems from doing so...only thing is that it slopped off the flapper valve so we just used a zip tie so it wouldn't slide off!! haha,
