wastegate

hey guys did some searching and came up with nothing. I have a wastegate with 3 nipples. 2 on the top 1 in the middle. I tried putting pressure to these. when I put pressure to the one on the top and the one in the middle the arm moved. but when I try to put pressure to both top ones and not the bottom the arm didn't move..Just wondering why there is 3. any help please. tks

no

I would assume they are all vaccum hookups. Perhaps it uses a vaccum signal to keep the flapper closed tightly? like the TypeS?

I can't explain why it would have 2 vac hookups at the top though. thats a mystery. if you blow in 1 of the top nipples, does air come out the other top nipple.
