is it normal for a stock waste gate on a 14b to only open the flap about half way? i mean if you pull the actuator with your hand hard, does it open it fully? mine only opens it about half way before the arm seems as far as it goes.

trying to figure out if its normal or if its because i rotated my center section from the turbine housing and then had to re position the waste gate with washers. it now holds it shut like it should but the arm straitned out when i rotated so i added washers to make up for the new angle

 

someone must have a 14b laying around. just go push the wastegate open with your hand. then disconnected and see if it opens it only half way.
