Wanting to turbo 3100 SFI v6 engine

I was currious if a GM engine thats got 130,000 would be worth investing into throwing a turbo on it :-D

If it's a good cheap HMT kit ... why not?

Welcome to the forum.

If I had to guess you are trying to boost a 98-02 Chevy Lumina?

I personally would only do it if you had a backup motor.. chances are this one will break since it's your first one and ----.

Its actually a Gutlass Cutlass :-D

Want to liven it up alittle bit. Going to lower it here in a bit ... and throw some nice rims on it ... hoping it looks semi decent after that ...

but i've been looking into doing an engine swap to an l67 motor which is a 3800 with Supercharger option (240 hp/260 tq) ... (reliability is there)

but said ... it really all depends ...

The 3800 is a popular motor.. I think your easiest bet would be to grap a spare 3.1 and boost your existing setup.. assuming you can find enough support to make that ---- happen.
