Default walbro 255lph fuel pump in stock dx?

i am building a turbo setup for my 00 civic dx. the motor is completely stock right now, aside from an exhaust system. i have bought a walbro 255 lph fuel pump for the turbo, and i need to know if i can install it on the stock civic before the turbo goes into the car. if i do, will the car run the same as it did before? will i lose gas milage?

thanks,

bermanator

you might run a little richer but you can install it and drive your car. i doubt you'll notice any difference in gas milage. i ran 450 injectors and a walboro 255 for a day
til i got my turbo installed.

i had the same question about 2 days ago.. and the popular opinion was that i would be running find if i had only installed the fuel pump with no other turbo mods

Yes you can put the fuel pump in before, you probably wont notice any difference.

It's the fuel pressure regulator that controls the fuel pressure, not the pump . So If your're fuel return line is big enough you will have the exact same amount of fuel delivered to the injectors.
