vtec solenoid testing?!?! Help Please!
I have just currently picked up a 1995 civic Dx that is all factory and and cant feel or hear the vtec popin so how should I test this and what does the solenoid look like? Please Help me!

those came with D15B7 (am I right?) which are non-vtec. You need the D16Z6 homey. Check your engine code.
Or is this just a joke? |

if your engine goes from 90ft=lb tq to 85ft lb tq at 5k vtec is not working, if in high RPMs your engine is just normally slow, vtec is working

Run a positive and negative off it and see if you can feel it do anything. If it doesn't do anything then it's no good

alright i got his ass back.. ---- heads and i thought a hit in the nuts is severe so i took out his ecu fuse.
