Vtec or non Vtec that is the question
 

People tell me a LS b18a head will not make any power built and i need to go Vtec on my turbo build is this true or is the shop just trying to make me spend more money. My understanding of Vtec is it changes your timing after 4G or so so if you got cams and all in a LS head you change the timeing any ways some one give me the right info please. Thanks

They're right, but you can still have a nice LS turbo setup. It just depends on how far you wanna go.

i would just go with an ls/vtec. if your gonna build it why not? youd probably make a lot more hp at the same boost levels with a vtec head :o
