ok well im building a Z6 and my power goal is set at 400whp and i cant afford sleeves so i have to pick out of one of these options ....but block guards can cause over heating if done wrong and posts involve drilling the block :X...im not sure which to pick so im seeing what other people would choose because they have used them or heard stories about them :8

oh, so you want a lot of power, are on a low budget, and want it to be reliable? you can only get two of those things, take your pick

well i mean im not shooting for 600hp or anything iv seen 400hp sohc engines without any type of bracing between the sleeves and block..a block guard or block posts should be fine i just dont know which to get thats all...if i really wanted sleeves id just have to save for a while thats all
