Re:which vortech fmu

12:1 is a diaphram, not an fmu..
you arn't sure if there is more than one fmu that vortech makes, but you wanna know which one? don't make sense to me. i think they only make one kind.

the diaphrams you have to buy if you want to change the ratio of fuel supplied per each pound of boost. ex. for ever psi of boost 12psi would increased in the fuel system..12:1 etc.

am i getting anywhere or am i making more confusion?

what type of fmu would be the best for a low budget. i will spend the money if i have to. i can't afford a high tech system that requires a lap top.

I thought I saw an sfmu on their website! I could be wrong though! you could asjust the base fuel as well as the rising rate and then would not need to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Only thing was that it was more expensive.

Search Ebay for a Cartech. Reliable, cheap, and can adjust baseline and rate of rise.
