been offered t5 turbo off a big *** volvo! is it gonna be any good to go on my d16z6! dont want it to be to laggy and need something to lasst all the way to the redline!

It'll make 300hp... TD04L-19T... My TD04L-13T holds at least 13psi till redline and the power doesn't fall off enough to feel it ( even though a dyno should show that it does a little ).

The "T" wheel is the ---- IMO, I think greddy is using them in there new Y8 turbo kits..

The TD04L-13T I have is off a WRX.

My car has low compression ( 8.4/1 ), stock 1'' cat-back exhuast, and a POS DP and I get 5psi@2200rpms and 13+psi by 3000Rpms...

If I found out that the volvo Td04l-19T had the same turbine inlet flange ( where exhuast goes in the turbo ) I'd trade you straight up for my WRX turbo, if you want a turbo with a little less lag.. My turbo has very low mileage...

glad to hear this turbo is good as i can get it for cheap! is this internal or external wastegate thanks for the help by the way! this turbo could of gone to waste!

ya these turbos are twin scroll so they spool fast and they have internal waste gate and built pn bov. snap it up

Its a TD04 not a T5... The motor that it comes on is a I-5 ( inline 5 cylinder ), just to clarify for somebody that might think we're talking about a T5 turbo ( like T3/T4 ). The big dog volvo's have the TD04HL-19T and the S40 volvos have a TD04HL-16T... I'd like to have the 16T, or even the 19T, but the WRX TD04L-13T does pretty good too..
