volvo 12b oil line confused???
i got a 12b volvo t3 turbo and the thing im confused about is which is the feed and which is the return b/c when its mocked up, the one with the oval fitting is on the back of the turbo closest to the block, which i thought is usually the return line, and the normal circle fitting is on the other side towards the front bumper. niether are faced vertical or at an angle. just horizontal. it sounds confusing but i will try to get somepics so you guys can get what im talking about. i can't rotate the housing niether b/c the wastegate arm is in the way. has anyone done any modifications such as mounting it to the chassis? i just need to get my car running then ill go external wastegate.
its a ssauto mani braced and rewelded (held up on my friends set up for 10 months and still counting w/o cracking) got it for 20 bucks not bad. but i think im going to rotate/ clock the turbo and fab a bracket for the wastegate. the turbo is mated together with a metal clamp, not with bolts like most turbos.

yea i just noticed the snap ring after hosing the turbo down with brake cleaner. i have to take the snap ring off and put in another notch on the center piece and voila, thanks though.
