i swear mine use to be around 25. but for sure it was running at 22 then it slowly went down to around 17 and then when warm it would be around 20-22. then it was anywhere from 12-17 and then it just wouldnt ------- idle. so i checked for a vac leak everywhere. couldnt find it. checked everything i could think of without testing wires. couldnt find the problem so i took it to the best shop in my small town. and now its been sitting there for almost a week. i told them to do a smoke test to check for a vac. they said they didnt think it was a vac. problem and are testing other things. there the best place in town so its really ------- busy so my car isnt getting down and is just getting checked on everyonce in awhile. they thought it was my map sensor because i got a 1.5bar i think gm one. so they tried two different ones and they were reading the same volt. even though i guess its suppose to read a different volt they were saying. so im wondering whatsup with my car and just want it fixed.

ya my car use to idle just fine allittle high at about 1000 but it took a few sec to turnover with alittle gas. i have a crappy battery and low compression pistons 8.5 not sure if that has anything to do with it. but then overnight it just fucked up on me.

I get 20 ish when the car is warmed up but who gives a ----. Does the car run well? If so, don't worry what some guage is telling you. All you need to worry about is if the numbers change from what they usually are.
