how do u test to see if u have a vacium leak?

first dead giveaway...at idle your boost gauge doesn't show around 18-20in-hg vacuum

i had my wastegate signal line unplugged and only showed 10 at idle.

next step, look for loose hoses and holes in hoses.

Yeah, what he said and also listen for any strange suckion type sounds. I had a real bad one not long ago

run some soapy water over the vac lines and look for bubbles?

what about a light spray of ether/starting fluid on each line to see if the idle surges .

I'm n/a right now, but hooked up my gauge any way to get it done and out of the way. Anyway, I vaccum only at 15-16 idle and cruising like 16-18. Is that still okay?

mine idles at 17-18 with turbo.

What makes you believe you have a leak?
