Blow through carb works not to bad.I have a buddy used this write up on how to convert a Holley for blow through and it took him a afternoon to get it all readyhttp://www.hangar18fabrication.com/blowthru.html.For GM ecu stuff go hit up :

You don't need to do anything to the computer on a 5.0 mustang. The formula is easy: 255 lph fuel pump, 42# injectors, Pro M mass air meter calibrated for 42# injectors, optional adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

If you want to go with a chip, you would still need injectors and would benefit from a larger than stock MAF. SCT makes good chips. Get it burned on a dyno.
