v afc question
 

So I just discovered this website and I want to say it rocks. I've been searching and reading about the v-afc hack. Is this right, you hook up the v afc normally, use 450 cc injectors, and lean the hell out of it. From what I've read thats what I can gather.

Also, I have a stock b16a1 in a 91 hatch with a turbo from a starion, a 14b I think. Will 450 cc injectors, a aem fpr, a vafc, and a fuel pump be enough to tune it and run safely.

the vafc hack can manage quite a bit of boost fine. now it depends on what kinda boost u want to push. u never clarified that.

yes u got the afc hack right. u lean it out to like -40 -35 -30 .. etc.

I don't get this but from what i have heard you want your car to run rich when you boost. So why do you want to lean the afc out. Wouldn't that ruin the engine?

I'm only looking to run 6-8 pounds of boost.
