using dx manifold for turbo manifold?

alright i have a 93 civic DX hatch and im almost completed my turbo project, i've got the 450cc injectors on the way and i have the programmer and turboedit. i've got all the hardware except the oil lines which will come next weekk. Now id like to make a custom manifold out of my DX manifold, using a custom adapter from the bottom of the manifold where it bolts to the downpipe. i've read about ppl using CX manifolds and making there own, but i dont know if there are differences in the cx and dx exhaust manifolds!
please let me know ::)

The DX manifold will put the turbo down too far to be usable. I've seen pictures of people that have done it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just get an HF mani for $30-40 and the adapter plate from BMC for $50 and you're all set. That's just the standard going rate on the board. I got my STD mani at a JY for $16, but it took me a couple hours to get the damn thing off. I would have paid the extra 10-25 just to avoid the hassle (when I actually had money ;) ) If you can weld or know someone the can, you can build the BMC manifold for about $60-70. At least, that's what I paid for all the materials to make mine. Not that I'm saying anything bad about his manifolds, they look really good and his prices are very reasonable for them considering the welding time and research that went into them.
