I looked at buying a new sti when I picked up my truck, I payed 5000 more for a 1 ton full load diesel then they wanted for that thing, of coarse they can be had at a decent price used now. They are cool cars but not nearly as quick as I thought they would be.

 

Computer failure, nonexistant

 

13.1 out of the box isn't bad with a full warranty

 

I have yet to see a single stock sti break the 13.99

Almost every one I see at the track is pushing mid 14's :1

 

c/d, r/t, subaru themself cut low 13's at the track. a wrx, stock, with 227hp runs low 14's.

sti's run low 13's stock with closer gearing (6 vs 5spd) and have 300 +/-10hp. the '08 sti runs 13.1
look it up, it's legit info

 

That's what I run...for considerably less.

 

Thats what eveything says, but the reality of the mater is, I have still not seen a stock 08 sti make a pass dow the track faster than a 14.
