Upgrading from t25 - t3

Im sick of the t25.. to small. Has no lag, but no top end.

So im going for a T3 off a RB20DEt. With using another manifold, external @ 6psi, will i see any decent gains up top.. eg on the motorway?/

Cheers

more or less, bigger turbo=more top end

Yup...it will definately have more top end.
If it's on a D-series it won't die out...if it's on a B-series VTEC it will, probably after 7K rpm's

Interesting. I dont know much about the RB20 T3 turbos, but T3s off volvos are a tad bit smaller than a T25. Can you crack both of them open and post pics? Of both the T too small and the Nismo T3 side by side. just the cartridge pics are needed, DO NOT crack the nuts off the compressor/turbine wheels!

Have fun! :)

the t3's you are referring to are .48/.42 and are bigger than a t25 ;)

All i know is that theyre ceramic and are far cheaper than going for a t28.. Does anyone know the size's of it? You guys never really use the ones of these engines. Cheers
