Ok. This ain't what you have as a Pinto.
This Pinto is the 2.0l SOHC Ford engine that is in my mk2 Ford Escort RS2000. I don't think many if any made it to the USA, but i could be wrong.
After wanting more power I decided to go turbo and after a lot of reading on the web I built up my turbo kit.
A lot of info was found from this site, manys thanks to all that put information up here ;D
I started with a simple manifold to get it all running.

This has allowed me to fit a Garrett T3 on the the 1993cc 8v SOHC motor. I've also been building different layout headers i may try some time.

The engine is still on running standard compression ratio of 9.2:1 . This will be changed soon with a fresh engine fitted with 8.1:1 forged pistons and stronger rods. I've also added a small intercooler up front.

Things are a bit rough at the moment and need to be tidied up. Also I'm fitting a Megasquirt n Spark ECU to control it all. Heres some pics for ya. 8)

Need a low CR as i plan to run 21psi to 28 psi. Should be good for 250 to 310 bhp (i hope)

And Yep its a tight fit :o. Hope the paint don't burn off :o

All the EFi, piping, turbo, intercooler and ECU are stock Ford UK parts, but not from this car. I tried to keep as many stock parts from the Ford parts bin as i could, so i can replace them if they break.

The only standard part is the engine

that is true. a friend of mine went to ireland and london a while back for a funeral and to visit some family, talked to some cousins over there and told them about my old setup, they said over there it would be one of the most badass cars around...its funny cause over here it sucked.
