what would be more efficient on a 454 big block

normal:
2 identical turbos

sequential:
1 smaller turbo and one larger turbo, both feeding the intercooler

or compound:
1 smaller 1 huge turbo with the smaller one driving the larger one.

or a single huge turbo?

stock stroke, .040 pistons, around 8.5:1 compression

approximately 7.1 liters of displacement.

and fuel injection

a pair of t-bird turbo's will lay out 600hp are you trying to make more than that ?

at the moment im tossing ideas around man. i was looking for like 800-1000 hp.

its going to be built from the bottom up and wont happen for a while. need to amass parts and ----.

and ive had the car since i was 15. my dads idea so far for how it is. but corvette red on a slow *** car is sacreligous in my opinion.

its a numbers matching 1966 chevelle malibu. even came with smog pumps and ----. bought it off the original owner.

badass, its a toss up what to do i dont know a lot about the v8 stuff and what works well or better. but i think it would be sweet to do what the diesel trucks do, with one turbo feeding the other one! itd be sweet as hell.

small turbo gets exhaust in. exhaust out goes into large turbo exhaust in.

I'd say 2 SC61's or equivalently sized personally. It's not like you'll be lacking in low end torque with such a big motor anyway. How often do you see a 8.1L bog the launch?
