twin turbo Durango....
 
ok so i had the idea of boosting my friends durango ::). and didnt know if anybody had done it before. my main concern is tuning. what kinda tuning is available? so if anybody has some info lmk.

why would you want to go through the trouble of boosting a piece of ---- like a durango, let alone somebody elses piece of ----?

Look into what the Chrysler guys use for tuning, more than likely a megasquirt system. If you're really interested and have the available tools a such. Is it obd II?

well its a 99' so i take it its obd2. do yall know of a forum with dodge and chrysler guys that would know a good way to tune?

How about google somethin like dodge or chrysler forum?

Use an fmu for low boost, a 360 magnum will take it nicely

nobody has any good info? ive decided to go single turbo, with a t70 or gt40. something like that. come on guys surely someone has turboed a dodge and has some insight.

ive never turboed a dodge but you should be fine with and fmu unit

cool. thanks. plans are to run 8 psi. with a custom made manifold, a t70 or gt40(which ever we find the cheapest), and a fmic. it will be a while before he can afford the project, right now im trying to do my home work on it. but once we get it in motion ill post pics. it should be interesting O0 :1 :8

i have a customer turbocharging a 5.9 dakota right now.
He's using msd BTM + apexi safc2..... I have been looking for a better idea but for dodge....there'S not much available.

the msd Boost Timing Master is just a box with a adj. knob, that is plugged to your intake though a vacuum hose, and retards the ignition timing proportionally to boost as per a ratio that you can determine through a dash mounted knob.
