Disel motors push out a lot more air then gasoline. Maybe a 2.5L 4 cylinder could push two of those little turbos.. definately not your d16

hm. i am from europe. there to hard to find turbo dsms, and other turbo cars. only diesel =)) there alot of saabs. so question is will two turbos from saab 90-98 will work? i saw they has t25.

I think 2 Garrett T25 would be great for a twin-turbo setup. Or maybe GT15-17 they are all standard Saab-turbos so availability is not a problem (at least not in Sweden were i live, but we make em so...)!

A few years back a friend of mine was racing a dragbike with a Suzuki 1300cc engine and 2 mitsu td04-15t, they´re about the same size as the T25. 450 hp @ 16-17 psi!!
Thats pretty good on an engine that small and not to much boost. ;D

Those diesel turbo's he speak of or tiny...I think it will work.
I've seen some at the yunkyard...I think they were garret turbo's some are KKK's.
The garret ones were T2 turbo's ..... here they use the turbo's on diesels for low end power only.....all the diesels I rode in only rev to 4.5K maybe 5K max

i also think they will work. they are kkk. and they are really small. but another important thing. they are diesel and will they support hot gases from gasoline engine?

is there a ------- difference between a turbocharger that was on a diesel car and a gasoline car...

#1 FORGET TWIN TURBOING A HONDA !!!
#2 go find one of about 10 zillion volvos over there that use a mistu turbo called a TD04HL-15T, TD04HL-16T, or TD04HL-19T.

They are bad ass turbos for D16s !!! My TD04HL-13T runs 10psi all day, can run 15 ( or maybe more), and I get 10psi by about 2800-3000rpms.

Over here Volvo parts are kinda rare and expensive ( at least for newer volvo stuff ), but over there in euro they should be a lot cheaper.

Reguardless, forget the twin turbo idea, even though the 1.9L golf TDi turbos are pretty freaking small. The only problem I'd see with the TDi golf turbos is that VW isn't dumb ( at least recently ) and I'm sure they put a massive turbine housing on those turbos, even if the compressor are almost literly doughnut sized.

I have a garret T3 from an older VW jetta diesel, it is like a 35 or 40 trim compressor, and the exhaust is the smallest trim turbine you can get for a T3, it's like a 30 or something, it's tiny, I think the most it can support on a gas engine is about 160 HP, so two of them would work, but they have this really oddball wastegate setup, it's integrated into the turbine housing. It's easy to block off tho, which is what I'd recommend.
