twin injector setup/question

Okay I know that somepeople have used a 5th injector where they mount it before all of the runners for like wet nitrous setups but would it be possible to run a dual injector setup if I ran a 2nd fuel rail on something like that is model'ed after jeff's TT intake manifold...e.g. if I could mount 2 sets of injectors would that work for a higher end turbo setup = 2 sets of 450ccs = 900cc or so of fuel = $100 + cost of labbor to make the manifold = a hell of a lot cheaper than rc750ccs or 800cc's.

I know it is small but it works

ttt

*looks at everyone...awnsers please*

After I thought about this, wouldn't soem of the gas that is injected kind of get blocked up because the cam lift will close the valves before the air gets in there or will that be made up for via the extra cfm's being pushed?

*if* you were to do it like that, make the injector bosses as close as possible to eachother. They are batch fired injectors, so you would have to be pushing a hell of a lot of ponies... of course with TE or something like it, you can mess around with the pulse width and truly regulate how much fuel you want to go in.

The fuel would not get "blocked" by the valves, it would just leave the fuel in the intake manifold because your not flowing enough air to push all that fuel through. Thats not good, because you want the fuel to be atomized when it hits the cylinder. and with exess fuel, it would liquify. jesus im tired.

yeah

im just thinkin of something like 300ish hp...

but i'd prolly only need liek 550s or so for that

Re:twin injector setup/question

you could do that with a couple sets of stock injectors, saves some money on the buying of 450's

I have a setup like that on my Suzuki, 2 injectors per cylinder, one injector at each port and one injector further up the runner.
