Youll have to seal the floats to keep from imploading under boost, run a rising rate Fuel pressure regulator, get extremely ingenius on a way to route the boost to both carbs...

Then youll have to mees with it for a bit to make all the fuel curves correst.

Re:twin carbs and turbo

There are two kinds of carbureted setups for forced induction. Your first being a suck-through breed that routes the air/fuel mixtures thru the carb, intake, through the turbine/exhaust manifold and finally back into the intake for feeding into the motor. This method can be established with a medium-high flowing carb for your specific motor. Aside from the overwhelming challenges of fabrication of a custom intake manifold this method proves itself asinine because of the effect of running without an intercooler. This method is usually found as an all-in-one kit for a reasonable price, I’ve seen a few on ebay but no way would I think of actually installing this on my sbc.

The more common method is the blow-thru, this is commonly found on carbureted chevy and ford v8 setups. As the prior member has mentioned, you will need to pay attention to certain attributes to make this work right. Finding solid floats for the carburetors might be a difficult task; easy if you own a holley or edelbrock but I can’t definitely tell you where to source the parts for your setup. Aftermarket fuel pressure regulators are easily adapted to whatever product, get a hold of an edelbrock performance catalog to give you an idea of what parts you might want to look into (granted edelbrock pricing might not be a factor in your budget). Routing the boost to the individual carbs shouldn’t be that hard. If you’re proficient in fabrication then you could tackle this within a weekend’s time.

I believe there is nothing wrong with doing something different and making whatever setup you have work but it would be a lot easier for you to look into fuel injection instead. I am sure you are well aware of this and that me imposing the suggestion isn’t going to sway you from doing whatever you have your mind set on. Either way, keep the forums aware of your ventures.

Here are a couple of links from this forum that I dug up for you. Granted neither are twin carb setups, but lots of good info in there to get you started on your research for this project.

Hey there dude..Well i made a few changes on the sb turbo setup since you been gone. Got the 11-1 350 in there with the t4. Goes good on 5 psi boost so i got me a boost controller an gonna mount it inside to turn it up as needed.
Twin turbo cad is in the works..Manifold turned out awesome.I got pics but not able to post em yet.Engine sitting there with heads all done up an manifold sitting atop with dual carbs. The t-400 next to it built for extreme shifts an got the realy nice bonnets.prob about mid march it will hit the road i figure.Got dial in the chevy a lil better for daily driving....Nice to see you back.... :D

I saw a twinturbo studebaker once.
It also had twin carbs.
He just made one box that connected to both carbs.
I didn't like his setup. It seemed to me that the last carb got lower boost. Also the box was only 1½" high.

This is what i made.
