Turbonetics T3 .63/.60 Turbo

I got a hold of one of the old model T3's from Turbonetics, the one with no gold/blue backplate.
And I am wondering how much boost can this thing handle for the following specifications:

1) B16A
2) 81mm CP Pistons 9:1 CR
3) Eagle Rods
4) Stock B16A Head
5) Stock Throttle Body
6) 2.5" Charge Pipes
7) 3" Exhaust and Downpipe
8) Turbonetics MarkII External Wastegate

Management will either be through Chrome or Turboedit on 660cc injectors

Sounds like my turbo, and it was damn awesome on 5psi on a stock block. I'm sure with your setup you can achieve 350WHP, so just keep turning up the boost until you get there, haha.

Do you have any pictures of your turbo? What boost are you at right now?

With the trim on that compressor, you could probly make almost 400hp pretty easy with a good tune, but those injectors might me a little small for that much hp. You could put that car into the 11's if you wanted to with that setup.

id say around 400 hp i had a turbo just like that but it had a gold backing plate. i think that mean it has an upgraded wheel. but i had 5 psi DD andit was awesome and 9 at the track for my 12's

you might need bigger injectors. for the power you'll be making at 25psi

I agree...the 660's will easily go to 375hp and still keep a 85% duty cycle, but anything over that and you'll be pressing them. Need at least a 680cc to reach 400hp and still retain that 85%. At 95% duty cycle you could reach the 425 mark though, so it's all up to you.

Thank You for the Advice. I will work on 15 psi first an go up to 25 psi when the setup can provide for it.
A little bit OT, but will a 18"x6"x2" tube and fin intercooler provide proper cooling for 25 psi? Or will it just heat soak my engine?

pics! and if you cant afford ITR cams , atleast go for GSR cams.. you will make more power with those cams..

Re: Turbonetics T3 .63/.60 Turbo

these etimates are on a 90% duty cycle

310cc 200~220whp
370cc 220~280whp
440cc 280~330whp
550cc 330whp~380whp
660cc 380whp~425whp
720cc 425whp~475whp
880cc 475whp~525whp
980cc 525whp~600whp

with that being the case i run 750 cc injectors for 405 hp.
that turbo whould probobly be efficient up to around 300 hp. if you want 400 efficiently without youll need a t3/t4 57 trim

what size wheel is in it? i believe stg 3 brings it to a 60 trim.
