what's the REAL story on the Turbonators? Are they really that bad and cheap

what size engine you putting it on? 1.6 .. 1.8L ? be lucky to get 1-2 whp out of it.

An emissions lab, licensed by the EPA conducted tests on non-moving vortex generators that produced results as high as 20 horsepower and 24% increases in mileage whatt hey dont tell you is what engine they put it on.

5.7L v8 i believe is what they did those tests on.. little differnt than a small 4 cylinder engine

 

Their dumb for combustion chamber / port injection. A fraction of a bit less dumb for throttle body injection & have been known to help the tea tinyest bit on a carb.
---- those restrictive *** things & make yourself an intake manifold spacer. You'll get more power insulating some heat from the manifold than you will with some dumb thing like that.
