so ive been doing alot of searching and found some pics of the airbox people are using. i am going to fab up a airbox out of cardboard and then trace it on a sheet of aluminum. then ill cut it and tig it up. now i just need to strip the fairings of my bike and find some sort of oil supply. i would think a bike has a oil sending unit. i found a post with some else with a gsxr 750 and for fuel he modded his tank up and used a fmu. it was cheap but not the way i really want to go. i need to find out if a power comander will work or if i need a standalone ems. i will keep you guys posted on my project and get some pics of my progress as i start.

I made my own manifold (exhaust) with the stock headers and the intake I made a copy of the stock with metal. For fuel I am running a upgraded fuel pump and a powercommander with a muilt-hub that has a boost sensor and had my friend dyno and make a map adding fuel when it goes on boost, for timming depending on how much boost you want to run you can run the powercommander ignition module they are all plug in, no cutting wires, you can find them cheap on ebay. My fuel pump was $75 at a local shop, I removed my stock one and took the bracket there to find a pump that fits, you can also fun a mfu but I like the powercommander and pump combo better, I have no problems with the setup and I ride at least 2 times a week. With the stock motor and compression I am making 241 at 6.5psi with a good tune.

That's a great HP # for a Honda. Front wheel will not stay on the ground. Those are like stage one Busa HP#'s.. Bring that monster to the track. I want a pass in the other lane. My new bike is almost done I will post pics

thanks for some reason the this bike made great power for the amount of boost, better than my last bike an yamaha r1 but also I learn a lot and that also help, what bike do you have???

es.roadster 06-02-2009 10:58 AM

turbo motos?? isn't that a bit overkill? literally.

turbo750 06-02-2009 09:10 PM

i got some pics of my mockups of the airbox. will post them up in the next couple days.

turbo750 06-02-2009 09:14 PM

I welded up the airbox today and did a testfit. It hits the gastank on the sides a little bit so I got to trim it a little bit and weld it shut where I cut. will take pics of the complete airbox when im done with it. And then I will get some pics of it after I smooth the airbox. I found the oil sending unit so i have the oil situation figured out. I got some ideas for fuel. Just got get another gas tank so I dont ruin my tank thats painted to match my fairings.
