ill start by listing my mods:
Engine Mods: Turbocharged 1990 JDM DOHC ZC 1.6L engine AC Technics Battle Advantage muffler 1991 Civic DX tranny Centerforce dual friction clutch ACT streetlight 11.9LB lightened flywheel Apex'i SAFC 450CC 99 Eclipse injectors Turbo Specs TEO4H turbo with stock internal wastegate Stock CRX HF exhaust manifold Turbo Adapter plate HKS SSQV Super Sequential Blow off Valve Audi Front mount intercooler core Custom intercooler endtanks Autometer boost gauge Autometer air/fuel gauge Mandrel bent charge pipes and downpipe K&N Air Filter (from a motorcycle) Manual boost controller (home depot) Exterior Mods: Quantum Tek S11 15" rims Maxspeed coil-overs KYB GR-2 gas shocks 92-95 Civic Mugen style front lip adapted Interior Mods: Custom red and black vinyl seats MOMO Apache steering wheel MOMO hub adapter APC short throw shifter JVC Chameleon CD deck ISOTTA sequential shift light S2000 start button Autometer dual gauge pod i was planning on borrowing some drag radials or slicks for the drags, but my buddy had to work for the drags. so i ran my stock ghetto bald cooper cobra tires and all 4 15" rims. my best run was 14.2 seconds at 102MPH @ 12PSI but my 60 foot was 2.5 seconds with a full interior and jack and spare tire the turbo spools believe it or not too fast, the launch with hit full boost very easily, and my turbo is so small 12psi is the max it will do with my downpipe i currently have and my engine. that run i had the wastegate signal line right shut off at the mbc. with some slicks thats good for mid 13 to high 13 seconds. but it really hauled some serious ass once it hooked up in third gear. what do you guys think? alright times for a stock zc and homemade turbo setup? and anyone running that hks ssqv bov, its a great bov but it was designed wrong. basically i was getting compressor surge because my vacuum couldn't open the valve with so much spring tension, so i removed the spring. works great, no surge. if you want me to explain deeper why the spring doesn't belong there i can but just take my word for it. |

yea, that is pretty good times. just get the 60ft time down, and you will be set.

and now the track is closed until next june so i wont be able to use slicks any time soon. gotta love canada....

Not bad with some 20 inch slicks you can run mid to low 13's.

Dan, you complained that some other guy on HMT ran 12.9 when u only went 14.2.. he has a LS/VTEC, u have a ZC, BIG difference...FYI

dont get so upset. "then on slicks i ran a 12.90@101.84mph" i have a faster TRAP speed, therefore with traction i could assume i am close to that time, maybe a bit slower but damn close. not to mention my trap speeds would be even higher with a better launch |

My brother's camaro dead hooks on DRs. He ran 13.4@100mph... I'd say 102mph in a lighter car is good for low low low 13's..
