Default Turbo ZC getting assembled

Finally, after about 2.5 years, I am getting my ZC turbo ready to hit low ET's... I just ordered the rod bearings, I will be throwing in the rods and pistons and placing the head down... I hope everything goes good and that 20 PSI will yield about 300ish whp..

I ordered Clevite 77 rod bearings. I have used them before, did good for me, what is anyone elses take on them?

Thanks
SlowC

Clevite 77's are what I got from Napa, and they'll work fine for just about anything. Good luck with the 20 psi!!!

mighty small turbo for only 300hp @ 20PSI

i have about roughly 430HP@wheel with 16 PSI with my new setup for my RX-..[t66 ]

but i think you should check out arp head studs while you at it and resleeve the block.

I have the sleeves and ARP head studs and rods pistons fully worked head... Just the bearings were what I needed last on this motor.. The turbo is stage 2 modified Turbonetics t3/To4E. I only wish that I could get 400+ at 16... Maybe this motor will suprise me...

Peace.. Thanks for your feed back on the Clevites..

I used the same bearings for my ZC.

What internals do you have?

FYI..I just got mine back from the machine shop, golden eagle sleeved, rollerwaves, eagles, arp head stud kit, 1g ZC head for now.
Once I feel confident enough to convert the wiring over to 88-89 teg then I'll be slapping on an 88-89 teg head for better fuel/timing management.

What? Only SlowC can buy your setup? :P
Is this the manifold you'll be selling?
What about the turbo?
