i was contemplating not using an intercooler for response... I will keep it around 6 psi anyway. My nytro is a 2008.

If you have a 2009-2010 nytro use the yamaha 8bu weights, two 17mm steel rivets in each and 14.5mm rollers with stock clutch springs, works just great with the 180 kit, and you don't have massive weights that have a hard time back shifting like with the other levels of hp.

Im used to the ski doo clutching, Im new to yamaha. According to the manual there are two different weights on the steel rivets. Is it the 3.6 oz or 4.5 oz?

Im getting close with this thing. Another good day and I will be just about done.

i ended up scrapping the intercooler and using a charge box. I think with the low temps in the winter and only running 5-6 pounds boost I should be good.

I used a fuel controller for a snowmobile its GEMs piggy back adds fuel under boost only.

I will work on a video, we prob wont have snow here for a few weeks though. I'm pretty pumped to get it going.

This is a great site, it's a lot more fun to see what everyone is building then to look at a kit that someone bought.

we are using the heavy rivets, your going to have to experiment though

you don't need to use the 14.5mm rollers, but the engagement rpm is a little high without them.

6psi is pushing the stock injector's capacity to the max remember. What are you doing for oil scavenging? Remember the oil pressure port by the sending unit on the block is 1/8-28 BSP, not 1/8th npt. You can however run a BSP die over a NPT fitting and it makes it work.

I have not picked the scavenge pump. I see powderlites offers a reasonably priced facet pump unit but I am worried about reliability. I dont see myself dropping $500 for the MCX mechanical pump.

I actually ordered the oil fittings today from a shop in the UK they were not easy to find.

I will be in the 5-6 psi area for boost keeping it on the safe side.

So i started the motor today.

Changed the oil, topped off the coolant and ran it.

I need gauges so I have not actually moved it but it ran. It is a little louder than I hoped but I have not put the seat and heat shield over the muffler yet.

Stil waiting for snow........
