Turbo y8 age
I'm at the moment saving money to turbo my y8 this spring. But im in a loop of buying an h22 engine or boosting my y8. I came across the pro and cons and the h22 would be more exspensive but more reliable. The option of boosting the y8 would be less exspensive and im not really sure of the reliability (I do know it will increase the wear and tear) but i came across a question. Who in this forum has oldest boosted civic? For example anyone has been boosting for over year or two?

Re:Turbo y8 age
a couple people have been boosting theirs for over a year. and if you decide to go with the H22, pm me about your Y8

Re:Turbo y8 age
well if the y8 being boosted is reliable then i might go for that since its less exspensive

Re:Turbo y8 age
my y7 has been boosted for 16k miles if that helps...who cares about months/years...it's mileage that counts.

Re:Turbo y8 age
if you tune well it'll go for 100k plus, it's a matter of not skimping on ----

Re:Turbo y8 age
On my current d16z6, its probably almost 2 years now. However , through stupidity i went through 2 motors before this one... but this one is running good still.

Re:Turbo y8 age
no, don't explain that at all, it's a bad idea, stick with tried and true.
