turbo wraps?

Hey does anyone have any experience with the turbo insulation kits. Are they any good do they really help reduce temp as much as they claim ,do they with stand a good amount of abuse.

BTW hey jeff i checked with like 8 different companies on your 2.5 dia aluminum. Apparently aluminum isn't used much around here only stainless sorry. :(

I havent tried the wrap kits, but I did get some exhaust wrap, and wrapped the ---- out of my turbo and manifold. It was ok I guess, I really didnt notice that much, other than the odor of the semi burning exhaust wrap.. heh

Hmm, I would really like to get some aluminum bends somewhere.. any other ideas?

Have you ever been to a metals scrap yard? I've been to a few in Tacoma, and there is a TON of cool stuff there. You pay by the pound, and they had alot of everything (aluminum, etc...)
