I can't decide which turbo to use. I have 3 laying around. I want the boost for mid to high rpm power, my engine is already great low to mid (only 5th sucks). Built motor, looking for 300whp. I shift at 3k daily driving and 6.5k on the track.

1) chrysler garret t3 42/48
2) garret t3 48/63
3) mitsu 13g

I'm thinking about ditching all three and getting a ct26. Need direction!

 

what engine? b or d? id take the garret regardless.

 

A CT26 flang is going to the be a pain in the *** to find. I'd go with one of the Garretts.

Actually I know of one place to get the adapter plate for a ct26. I got rid of the 13g so I guess its either the 48/63 or the ct26?

 

id say the 48/63 later you can get a bigger compressor side too. and make it a 60/63

but to be honest i dont think you will get 300whp out of any of those turbos effeciently.

i had a .60 .63 on my LS engine. sweet turbo for the price i think. the .48 .60 will not push 300whp. get the manual version of that turbo.

 

Manual of wihich? The 48/60? Heh, I got it from a tractor.
