this turbo too big for b18b?

t3/t4e 57 trim .63 a/r stage 3 wheel..

i bought it for a gsr motor but now i'm gonna be runnin an LS motor. Will i see boost too late? i plan on running around 8psi.

It will boost later, but it will have good top end power..
Jeff is running a Straight T4 on his ZC ...bigger turbine then yours

THe compressor side is OK, but for a B18, I would change the t3 stage 3 for a stage 1.
You can keep 0.63 for top end power and/or serious boosting on forged internals.
If you want less than 10 psi on a stock engine, then the 0.48 a/r turbine will spool up quicker with sufficient flow.

just run what you got, and figure it out later... ;)

plenty of people have run 60-1's on stock b18b's so i dont see why not

the 60-1 is a 250-500 HP compressor.

I don't see how this could be of any use on a stock B18B.

since b series engines never see 250+ on stock internals???

Let's say you make 250hp on that B18B... Yes, it is possible.

At which RPM's do you want the turbo to be fully efficient?
The 60-1 will never be fully efficient on a 250 HP setup Because it'S sweet spot STARTS at 250hp and maintains it all the way to 450+. Even if overkill by a factor of 2, it would stil work. No doubt on that.
There are many smaller compressors out there EASILY able of 250 HP but start being fully efficient as early as 100 HP. Which one do you think is better? A sweet spot from 100 to 250HP or a turbo that never wakes up even at red line?

im running this exact turbo on my stock b18b. i hit 9 psi at like 4200, and it rips pretty damn good above 5k. i actually prefer it to a smaller turbo, because i can daily drive my car and not really go into boost, but if i downshift or floor it, it moves well
