Turbo Teg help please

We're turboing my friend's 94 LS this week and I have a problem. The o2 sensors on these isn't in the manifold it's in the exhaust but he's running 3 inch piping all the way back, can we ask the muffler shop to make him a custom flange for the o2 sensor. Also, if it isn't hooked up I know it will throw a code but will it effect the engine and/or the Uberdata chip running the engine? Thanks for the help.

tell them you need an 'o2 bung' in the exhaust for the sensor, they'll know what to do, if they don't i suggest you take it some where else because they're ------- idiots.

Right, an o2 bung, thanks. How about the computer putting the car in limp mode if it doesn't read any o2 signal? Is it going to? If it is, it will try to go pig rich with 450cc injectors! Which, needless to say isn't going to work out.

if you use the o2 sensor and the o2 sensor is good, then you have nothing to worry about, and even if it is bad and throws a cel, it shouln't run much different, your cel will just be on, i drove without an o2 sensor for a long time, actually it was on my teg also ;)
