turbo swapping

i have an 87 crx with a turbonetics t3 on it and i have an 87 starion with a td-05 super16g upgrade. i want to try the 16g on the crx because i rarely drive the starion. does anyone know what the lag characteristics would be on the crx? i also think it might be a bit much for the poor crx. are the flange mounts the same or do i have to make another adapter plate? i know what the 16g's flange looks like but i do not know what the t3 looks like. i need some pointers, and no lame ---- like " you should put it on the kids pocket rocket" haha. seriously. and if it doesnt fit what can take the place of the t3?

Your "super"16g has a circular turbine inlet, probably 7cm in diameter. The t3 has more of a retangular inlet. No they wont just bolt up. Ive seen adapter plates floating around teh internetz to swap back and forth between MHI flanges and T-series. However, depending on what trim t3 you have, you probably wont gain much, since both turbo's are comparable in terms of airflow and effeciency. Id stick to the garrett myself. More cost effective for future upgrades, and in my opinion a superior design.

Yeah, a turboetics t3 is a super good base.
I would simply upgrade that T3 with a T4 compressor and it would perform twice better than a 16G.
