Turbo studs/bolts

Yes, I have searched.

I've always just used the studs that came with a turbo/manifold I've picked up. This last turbo I got had absolutly no studs with it. Am I right in assuming that regular grade 5 bolts will work just fine? I'm just too lazy to go to mitsu to buy some.

How about just go to the hardware store.

Yeah?

I have so many odd bolts laying around I can usually find the right one if I dig around enough. Pressure plate bolts seem to work good for T3's.

I manage a hardware store. Just wanted to make sure nothing screwy happens when you heat up cast iron and mild steel together at over 1000 degrees.

I'll rock some grade 5 hex bolts. Thanks,

Just make sure you use lock washers. The expansion and contraction with back out the bolts.

would loctite work, or it will eventually melt because of the high heat?

Re:Turbo studs/bolts

I think when loctite gets that hot it becomes worthless.
