turbo spool

When you but a turbo how do you know at what rpm does it start to spool?? I wont to get a turbo that kicks in about 2700 rpm what make and size turbo should I get

More info would help like what engine you have. If you want full boost by 2700 rpms you will probably want a really small turbo. Getting bigger exhaust will help it spool a little faster too.

I have a 95 s10 2.2l , This winter i'm putting on a complete turbo set up. I wont it to reach full spool by 3200-3500 would be nice. When you say small what is small??

An IHI RHB5 is a small turbo that spools very fast and very early in the RPM range. Check the HMT Turbo Projects, look for some IHI's, there is some info about them there.
