turbo size question?

Ok, i've been digging through my collected turbo parts, and i wanted to find out what the stock waste gate pressure was on my 14b. I checked the "wastegate" post, and i noticed that it says td04h...now on my turbo it's stamped td05h. Is there any difference there? If so, what is it, and is it a good or bad thing? :-\ Hopefully if all goes as planned, i wanna get out of the N/A setup this spring. The turbo itself is clean, and spins freely, and has no shaft play at all. The stock wastegate feels tight as hell, def. not like an 8psi setup. Anyone got any ideas?

Re:turbo size question?

Found it :P EAGLE Talon (Manual) 90-94 2.0L MHI TD05H (45 trim)
Is the wastegate psi still the same as the tdo4h though?

Re:turbo size question?

I'd say it's at about 8 or so psi. I've personally have never seen a stock wg set above 10. The Tdo4 is smaller and come off of the auto talons. My turbo was set a 7 psi and it was stiff as hell.

Re:turbo size question?

Yeah, that's what i'm noticing. When i try to move the actuator by hand, i might be able to get it to move about a quarter of an inch, after that there's just too much spring pressure. I know the guy i bought the turbo off of had it running 18psi on his 4g63 6 bolt, but i'm pretty sure it was all done through an electronic boost controller. He had the turbo rebuilt about 2 months before i bought it off him, so everything's like brand new on it. If that's what 7 psi feels like though, god help my poor Z6 ::)
