Default turbo size/ preference

hey guys im in a bit of a stuck situation here.....ill cut the long story short basically im at a situation where i cant figure outwhich turbo i want to use for my gsr (eagle h-beam rods with je 9-5-1 pistons welded block guard....skunk 2 retainers and springs...ferrera exhaust valves, honda intake valves and the head was milled) annyyyyway i have a mits turbo off a CAT thats a td06h-14c (http://aim.search.aol.com/search/ima...ry%3Dtdo6h-14c) that is supposed to be a t3 and i have a turbonetics 30430 e-57 thats a .57 intake and .63 exhaust.......THE PROBLEM....i dont want a turbo that fully spools so high at like 6-7 rpms but im afraid the tdo6h-14c is not big enough and will spool to max way to quick...anyone got some facts that can help me out

reasons your a flaming *** tard

1. your "welded block guard=major fail, you just ruined a built gsr motor dipshit

2. you posted the exact same question to three forums and its a retarded question at that

3. if the turbonetics you have is a .63/.57 then it will reach full boost by 4k rpm and will work well with a gsr motor, this is a very common size turbo for a b16/b18 but you would know that if you werent such a moron

4. i'm betting you put this motor together and with your lack of knowledgeabilities the motor should blow up in record flat rate time, so it wont matter what turbo you use

that is all

You have no idea how worthless a td06 14C is. The definition of junk. I have refused free ones in the past because they are little more than very effective paper weight.

wow you bought the motor like that lol hope it was from someone you trust......anyway there has to be something wrong with your friends car then, horrible tuning, a ---- turbo, something because a .57/.63 will never take till 6k rpm to spool and reach full boost, hell, my friends built b16 hits full boost around 6k rpm but thats a 60-1 with a .82 a/r exhaust side which is a huge turbo compared to the one you have and its on a b16 not a b18.

If your turbonetics t04e 57 trim spools too slow and it has a stage 3 turbine wheel, then you could try a lower A/R turbine such as .48 a/r which would make your spool up begin earlier in the power band.

yeah the motor was actually put together by a machine shop, i know the history of the car and motor, but yeah my buddys gsr is on a shitty tune...as a matter of fact he rebuilt his gsr and reused all of the bearings (crank, rod) didnt torque anything down not even the HEAD no rehoaning the cyl walls nothingg...he put je 9-5-1 pistons on stock rods and used rings and runs 12 lbs daily for 3 months now...how i have no idea...luck ofthe draw i guess.....butanyway thanks for all the help guys
