Default Turbo size for a f22

Turboing my accord so far all I have is a ecu, dsm exhuast mani, some 450s, im not sure about the turbo though im thinking a t3,t3/to4,14b,16g but the t3/to4 and 16gs are so exspensive, what do you guys think keep in mind I eventually wanna have around 300hp, but for now i wanna run low 14s, remember its an accord and if I take turbo setup off of a dsm and put it on my car it will run high 14s and that I only have $1100

wayy too small.
get at least a t3/t4.
the biggest 16g is almost too small for a b series

14b will have you spooling at about 2200 rpms, and will prolly last you till around 5500rpms.

the smallest I would go would be the biggest 16g. thats a nice sized turbo that will spool early and last you till redline(6000-ish).

as far as t3/t4's go, on the compressor, dont get anything smaller than .60, and the hotside, dont do anything smaller than .63.

THe F22 is pushing what less than 140 HP atmospheric if i remember well Then 0.48 a/r turbine is plenty and is the quickest spooling option.

300 HP is asking a lot to the F22 IMO..... MAYbe 270-280 HP is more realistic/safe??

Well if it's the case, then for less than 300 HP, a t3/T04E 46 trim or t3/t04B 48 or 54 trim is sufficient. Heck, i even have customers who got jsut a t3 60 trim for a F22 and they were very happy!

sure You can get a big t3/t04e 57 trim with 0.63 a/r turbine to work OK but that'S a 400+ HP turbo. THat overkill capacity with make you spend more money and suffer from unecessary lag.
but that's just my 2 ¢.

Yes that'S a super good choice in my opinion. This turbo will support 275 HP safely.
and 375$ shipped is a super good price too!

But my question is: (Sorry, can'T help it)

IF THEY LIE by calling this turbo a "Super 60" while it's actually just a basic 60 trim from a old thunderbird, then I would really like to see if there REALLY is bolted down a 360° thrust plate in it and if all the internals are authentic GARRETT.
