Re: turbo size?

Nope...

its more like IHI RHB5 (the small trim version, i think VJ11??) 14b, T3 60trim (a 50 trim would be roughly the same as a 14b, maybe a lil smaller), 16g, 20g, and a T04E 60 would be biggest

Re: turbo size?

The RHB5 VJ11 only has an exhaust side A/R of .46
The turbine has an exducer diameter of 42.40 mm and a inducer of 51.80 mm making it a 67 trim turbine.
The compressor side has an inducer of 36 mm and an exducer of 52.50 mm making it a 47 trim.

The VJ11 is an excellant entry level turbo.

Re: turbo size?

I will agree it has excellent response, but for REAL power output youll want somthing bigger

Re: turbo size?

It depends though, anh easy upgrade is made using the compressor housing and wheel from the T Bird (Warner Ishi IHI) for a difference of 100 cfm. There is also the option of using the HT12 (TT RX7) compressor wheel and honing the Warner Ishi compressor housing to accept it. You'd still maintain the low spool but have the flow in higher RPM. This has been done on many occasions.
