Default Turbo Setup Enjoy

well im not new here actually i spent months reading up on turbo info and so forth, jsut started posting yesterday. anyways heres a a few pics of my setup

its a d16y8 P&P head, 14b@8psi, dsm bov, dsm 450cc's, 2 1/2 piping, my home made log manifold, and a greddy trust i/c, i tuned it with crome, been running her hard for 3 months and shes running great and very quick!.

anyways jsut a shout out to hmt for all the info that lead me to doin this thx. this winter ill be building the block, get a bigger i/c and see what 17psi gives me with a 14b, if its not enuff ill probably get a 16g or a 20g.

if i remeber corectly they hurt your spool time. they restric the air flow. might not be a prob with a 14b.

Some guy ( think in vegas, on HT) made 40 more whp taking off a foam filer (that was in the 300's though, 20hp for $40 would be nice tho). I'd also try relocating the filter, or at least making a heat sheild for the mani. The surface temp on the mani is usually 700ish degrees on a log, it will make the setup that much safer with cooler air.

My only question is... wft are those two hoses going from below the TB, around the motor, and past the air filter?
