turbo selection
 
hey im new to the turbo scene so bare with me. im currently running a completly b18a with 87k miles. im indecisive on the sizes on the turbo. im looking to purchase a t3 super 60 from garrett but what size compressor housing, .42 or .60? and for turbine .48 or .63. any bit of help is appreciated. thanks

if those are your only options, go with the .63/.60.
it will be very nice with a real super 60 compressor wheel.

if you have some more to spend, go with a decent sized t3/t4.

thanks alot, any reccomendations on manifold for a decent price i was looking at the spoolin performance log manifold.

it all depends on your budget.
there's alot more components to the turbo kit to factor in costs.
what have you acquired so far?

also, do you have access to a welder or know someone that welds?

i havent acquired anything at this moment. the t3 super 60 is for sure. i was planning on using dsm 450's, walbro 255, and jrc intercooler, all the rest will be custom such as piping and oil lines, just unsure of manifold and downpipe combo. yes i have many welders in the family

if you have many welders in the family then hit up lsdmotorsports for flanges and bends for a ramhorn. he will know what you need.
u can get bends for your downping and charge piping from him too.
you can check with racing solutions for those as well.
