Your head is lifting and the boost is pressurizing your coolant system.

It has nothing to do with rebuilding your turbo, and everything to do with a new head gasket and some ARP studs.

Not sure how your comment refers to him getting pressure in the cooling system...the coolant lines in a 14b are in the center section with the oil feed and return. If anything cracked bad there he'd mix oil and coolant.
Sounds like a bad headgasket, could be lifting a bit. New HG and ARP's like stated.

im not sure on your motor design, but i had my coolant system pressurised from a blown inlet gasket(being a v6 it carries the cyclinder port + water port next to each other) got fuel in there + pressurised coolant system, then got water in my cyclinder aswell...

id go with headgasket + ARP bolt kit

i took the head off his car with him its a d16z6 and the headgasket was fine there was no signs of it leakin anywere. now it definetly makes sense of the boost pressurizing the system but eouldnt i see signs of that on the headgasket especially were it was doin it for at least a few months.
