has anyone tackled the task of turboing an s10 with the 2.2L in it? i have a few plans that i am deciding between and wanted to get an idea of what all would be involved... i have a mitsubishi t1 turbo, btw

Anything can be turbocharged. You just have to address manifold(s), turbo, supplying turbo w/oil and properly draining oil, charge piping, intercooler, and the biggie, fuel managment. That should give you a direction to start researching on things specific to your truck. Now post tittays

Yeah, 10k later.. and they are 4.3l not 2.2l

 

yea i know they are 4.3 hence why i said that.. ---- those shitty 2.2 and their plastic timing chain roller

 

As a learning project.. maybe.. Otherwise just swap the 4.3L in.. It's 3/4 of a V8 and has a ton of parts available to it.

Course, I did turbocharge a toyota 2.4L, so I'm a retard too..
