Default Turbo rebuild.....worth it???

welp, I finally got myself a 14b and it looks to be in good shape, but i still want to rebuild it before it goes on. I hear people go both ways about the rebuilding issue, some say you can do it as long as you take your time and know what you're doing and don't bend anything. Others say that only a shop can do the rebuild because you can damage the turbo when taking it apart and then it will be un balanced. I figure as long as I mark the wheels before removing them then line them back up when putting them back together it should still be balanced. also I would use a T handle on the compressor wheel nut so the shaft doesn't get bent. Anyone have any input? THANKS!!!

have the shop do it. nothing like stressing about your turbo's balance when your redlining... have them port the inlet and outlet too
