Turbo Rebuild
ok, so um, YAY ME! i rebuilt my TE04H all by myself with only a couple of extra pieces left over.
i'm not sure the rebuild kit they gave me was the right one since the cup was a different size, everything else fit though, the seals were definately fucked, they were both flat and wore the ---- out, new seals == no more smoke! YAY!
i'm so happy i could ---- a brick!

congrats man, I'm picking up my new T-25 tommorrow. Its off a 1 owner show car that has never been raced. how hard was the rebuild anyway. I'm gonna rebuild the one i got on my car now probably. I got a spare built D15b2 block, a spare z6 head, and y8 intake in storage. All I need is the rest of the turbo kit(the cheap stuff) and a nice crx hf so I can build my weekend toy
no, they don't come with instructions, and trust me, you don't want to ask the people who sold you the kit for instructions, they laughed at me.
i found some linked from here in another thread, i think it should infact be in the faq too. you've got to be fairly mechanically inclined, and have a basic understanding of how your particular turbo goes together, and make sure you mark the shaft where the turbine goes on otherwise you'll have grenadelike issues.
